Please Read Carefully before agreeing to our terms and conditions.
All prices are quoted in Sterling, unless the drop down box is changed on the top right of the screen to another currency of choice
We try to ensure that the information shown on www.kilnlinings.co.uk is as accurate as possible. Kiln Linings cannot be held responsible for typographical errors on this site, including but not limited to those regarding price. All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. If for any reason goods ordered are not available you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. All goods remain the property of Kiln Linings until full and cleared payment is received.
DAMAGES AND SHORTAGES
The customer is asked to examine any received goods upon delivery and notify Kilnlinings by telephone or email of any fault or damage. After the goods are signed for upon receipt of delivery or in the eventuality a customer has requested us to leave the goods unattended we can no longer be liable nor responsible for any damage incurred to or by the goods whatsoever.
Please ask us for an estimated delivery prior to ordering (if required by a certain date). We will always attempt to deliver both as soon and economically as possible. For all GB orders in stock we aim within 5-7 working days for all European orders within 10 working days and for the rest of the world within a month, all from reciept of cleared payment to us. We may be able to improve on these dates, and they are for a guide purpose only. We will provide a specific delivery day wherever possible. Usually you will be informed of this by telephone or an alternative method, however we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses you may incur as a result of a delay in receiving your goods on the allocated day. If a delivery is cancelled, after the goods have left our warehouse you may be required to pay a cancellation charge (this is at Kilnlinings discretion based upon the circumstances and would be a maximum charge of £5000, which covers our maximum worldwide delivery cost) Though we will ensure that the charge is what we feel appropriate to the costs associated with the cancellation (if any charge arises at all).
If a delivery is returned to us due to insufficient or incorrect delivery information, you may be liable for the costs of deliveries incurred, and a handling charge where we feel necessary ( Maximum £10,000). We reserve the right to cancel orders, where we have attempted delivery and due to, insufficient or incorrect delivery information the item has failed to be delivered. If delivery is refused by the addressee or purchaser the above charges will apply and we will do all we can to recover any losses suffered as a result, this may include charges mentioned above. We also reserve full rights to recover charges from monies paid to purchase the goods, if any of the fore mention charges are not paid in full.
If you decide you do not require the goods, the goods can not be returned unless we exercise our discretion to agree to the goods return to us. The reason for this is most of our goods are made to order and we immediately reproduce items once these bespoke goods are sold.If we do decide to exercise our discretion and agree to the return of the goods, the goods must be returned in their original packaging unused and in perfect re-saleable condition. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the goods are adequately packaged in the event of any return. We in this case we may agree to a refund the customer or offer alternate goods, though both are purely at our discretion.
Where a pre arranged and agreed (between Kilnlinings and the customer) day has been given for a delivery and that delivery fails due to there being no one at the address to sign for the goods then the customer maybe liable to pay a failed delivery charge. Also if you cancel a delivery after the goods have left our warehouse you may be required to pay a cancellation charge as mentioned int the “Delivery” section of our terms above.
All Burners, Wood Burning Oven Kits and Mini Hobby Kilns are manufactured to order and cannot be returned, unless there is a technical fault and the goods are still under warranty, if any warranty is given. If the goods are found to be faulty we may choose to mend the faulty item or offer a replacement though we will not offer a refund, unless we can do neither of the fore mentioned.
FAULTY GOODS & GUARANTEES
If you appear to have a technical fault with items purchased from us, in the first instance please do contact us, we will always try to resolve any issue as quickly as possible. A response will be made within 28 working days. Quicker if possible.
. If you believe an item to be faulty, we may collect the item from you to confirm that this is the case, If no fault is found a collection, inspection or testing fee may be charged (up to £2000). Again this is at Kilnlinings discretion as to what we see fitting to the time and money spent on the fore mentioned (collecting/testing/inspecting). No refund or replacement will be given and in this case and we may cease your goods until we receive any monies owed to us in lew of charges mentioned, before we will return your goods to you at your cost.
All orders must be paid for in full, prior to dispatch unless otherwise agreed with Kilnlinings. These funds must be cleared received funds to enable us to dispatch your item. .
BACK ORDER POLICY
At the time of ordering we will advise you as soon as we can with regard to any insufficient stock levels and where necessary lead times on orders where we have to manufacture your items. If in any doubt with regard to our delivery or availability of products or any of our terms and conditions whatsoever please contact us in writing prior to purchasing any materials/goods from us
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. To confirm prices please contact us. We make every effort to keep prices on this website up to date, however prices for some product change daily and therefore we cannot always do so.
We endeavour to keep our shipping rates as cheap as possible. To do this we use an economy pallet / parcel service. Our Pallet Delivery's will take place between 9am and 4pm unless otherwise specified (An exact time of delivery would be at an extra cost, likewise so would be an AM/PM delivery). Should you not be available to receive the delivery anytime between 9am and 4pm we can arrange delivery to another address of your choosing. We can also leave the goods on your premises should you wish, at your own risk and without a signature acknowledging delivery, though we require notification in writing stating that you accept full responsibility for the goods and also that responsibility for their safe keeping and liability remains with you (the customer) after we leave them at the specified location. If we are not notified that you are unable to receive delivery on the delivery day in question between those times and we attempt to deliver (with no-one there to accept delivery). We will take the goods back to our depot. We can then arrange a further delivery though this will be at an extra cost to you (the customer).
Re-arrange delivery cost is £55.
Should you cancel your order once we have received payment. We will/may have started to arrange the delivery and so all delivery charges will be lost upon cancellation and are non refundable. We will credit the goods in full (minus the delivery cost and any associated packing costs up to a maximum £2000). If you (the customer) cancels the order once a delivery attempt has been made, we will charge £55 to bring the goods back to us. (In most cases this will be deducted from the credit we will issue you with, for the return of goods themselves and minus and other associated packing and handling costs up to a maximum £2000, whatever we Kilnlinings deem to be fitting for the associated costs we have incurred. However if the delivery/return costs exceed the goods cost we may look to recover the costs from you (the customer) using all means at our disposal as mentioned earlier in our terms and conditions.
